July. Hi summer. Now is time to enjoy the long summer days and to follow your own path. Remember to take care of you this season and don’t let the summer pass you by without accomplishing something you want in your life.
Here is a collection of what I’m loving this month, and a few of my summer goals that I want to work on.
I’m feeling HOT! It’s the best time of year to relax and soak up the sun. Maybe plan a little summer mixer party with your friends? You can find all of my inspo for that over on my party pinterest board!
If you are just in the mood to do a little decorating, I’ve created some fun, free printables for y’all! Print and hang them on your fridge or place in a fancy frame. Click on the PDF downloads to get the high-res images for printing.
In Minnesota, we only get a few months of beautiful summer weather, but one of the things that I like most about living here is that we make the most out of the summer months. I try to save a lot of my vacation time to take Fridays off in the summer to get a little extra outdoor time. On a beautiful weekend day, the trails in Minneapolis will be filled with people walking, running, rollerblading, biking, or whatever else they can do to be outside.
We also have lots of roof top and sidewalk patios that restaurants turn into outdoor seating, because we have to make the most of every beautiful, warm day!
If you find yourself without plans this summer, I’ve made a bucket list of the must-do activities to have the best summer ever!
Warm weather brings sunshine filled days outside. Instead of sweating it out in a face full of makeup, I lighten up my beauty routine to a few simple products. The key is to invest in products that protect your skin, work even when you break a sweat, and still look great!
Summer is the perfect time to try out fun manicures. I love always having a fun pop of color on my nails, but I’m always inspired by more fancy looks! I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite inspiration to try out this summer!
Owning a house is a lot of work, but it can be even more work if you let the maintenance slip away from you. I’ve found it’s a lot easier to do a little bit of work each weekend to keep my house in good repair, instead of putting things off and ending up buried in work (and expense) later on. Here are my must-do’s for the summer months to keep my house in good condition, inside and out.
