April, the (hopeful) end of winter, and beginning of spring. For me, it’s felt like a really long winter, and I’ve been looking forward to warmer temps and getting back outside. Until then, I pulled together some of my favorite floral inspo for what I’m loving in April.
I love these beautiful prints by the etsy shop Apryl Made. This Franz Kafka quote is also a good reminder this time of year.
Happy spring and Easter season every bunny! (You better laugh at that). As a little treat to you all, I created a few cute spring themed downloadable printables! These are fun to add to a fancy vintage frame, or just to hang up on your fridge or in your workspace for a little joy.
Be sure to click the PDF download for the high-res version that will look nice when you print it. Enjoy!
It’s always so refreshing to take down all of the holiday decor clutter and start with fresh decor. This year, my christmas tree was so dead that I had to take it down the day after Christmas and decided to pack up all of the holiday decorations along with it. It was nice to take the time to neatly put away everything (and even label the boxes!).
Since it’s still winter in Minnesota, I felt like I couldn’t come out with full-fledge spring decor. I stuck to more of a minimalist look grounded in white with a few hints of spring.
At this point of the year, I am so over winter sweaters and boots that I can’t wait to stuff them away in my closet. As I shared in my post about making the most of your closet, I have been trying to build more of a basic wardrobe instead of buying a lot of trendy pieces that I will wear one season and push to the back of my closet.
Being the deal hunter that I am, I maximized the sales and coupon codes at my not-so-secret new (old) favorite store Abercrombie & Fitch. Here’s my spring fashion haul, and what I’m the most excited about:
Fair warning– I’m not about to tell you guys how to build a shed because this project was a little beyond me (thank goodness for dads!). But, hopefully this may provide a little spring project inspiration for you all.
I feel like post-Christmas is the most awkward time of year for home decor. Its always sad (yet refreshing) to take down all of the holiday decor, but I never know what to replace it with. It feels to early for spring decor, but who decorates for valentines day?
This year I went for a minimal look with a few hints of spring as a refresh after all of the holiday decor. I may have gone a little overboard on the fake flowers, but there is still snow outside so its all I can do for now!
