It finally hit 70 degrees in Minnesota (which is a big deal for April!). My daffodils are ready to bloom and the tulips aren’t far behind. Although we are always waiting for one last hit of winter cold around here, I hope we are past it! This year, spring feels extra hopeful with vaccinations on the horizon (I got my first shot this weekend!) and more outdoor activities to do.
As I dream of spring, I pulled together some of my favorite things to get you inspired too!

It finally hit 50 degrees in Minnesota, which means it was time to take down the left over Christmas decorations on my front step. It felt so good saying goodbye to the remnants of winter! I realized that I was very overdue for some new front step decor, and was excited to shop for it. I recently felt like it was time to update my fireplace mantle to feel refreshed for spring. I wanted to add some new pieces that made it feel really fresh and new, yet still fit with the rest of the room. I did some hunting and pulled together nice pieces that layered together well. Since I bought almost all of it recently, I wanted to share where to grab it for yourself!
All the pieces are affordable and really classic so that you can continue to use throughout the year. Happy shopping!

January is always a hard transition for your home décor. Its time to put away all of the holiday festivity, but it also really doesn’t feel like spring. I like to use this transition time to reduce clutter and brighten everything up a little bit.
It feels so good just to empty out your rooms and put away all of that holiday décor. I sort of like starting with a really blank slate in each room, and then deciding where to go from there.
