Its been a long couple of months for all of us. I hope you are taking care of yourself and your family. Its hard not to be overwhelmed with fear and worry right now. I’ve been trying to spend my time keeping busy with house projects, exercising, and binge watching some of my favorite shows.
I’ve found that turning off the news for most of the day has helped with not feeling so overwhelmed. I’ve also been trying to stay uplifted by motivating myself and others with positive vibes. On my run this weekend, a woman gave me a simple thumbs up, and it meant a lot to have that little bit of positive connection.
In the spirit of positive mindset, I’ve created some uplifting printables that are all free for you to download, print, and use how you would like!

It’s the time of year where everyone sets their new years resolutions. I know it can be an eye rolling time where everyone seems to be already bragging about the things that they’re going to do, but it really is an inspiring time to start something new. The key to successful resolutions is to set actionable goals. It’s not all about the end result, but how you plan to get there.
I compare goal setting to training for running marathons. To be able to run 26.2 miles, you have to start somewhere, and that is usually by running single digit distances! You can never achieve the marathon distance without lots of steps along the way. Most goals are really similar– you don’t get in shape by going to the gym once. You get in shape by starting to go once a week, and then twice, and then it becomes your daily habit.
Happy fall, y’all! This is my favorite time of year, and I’ve been so excited for the chance to change out my summer decor to cozy fall pieces! Fall is full of so many fun traditions and family time. I think that’s why so many people feel so nostalgic about the season.
For me, fall means running the Twin Cities Marathon, my birthday, football games with friends, and Thanksgiving with the family. If you’ve been following this blog for any amount of time, you know those are all of my favorite things!
In order to celebrate the best time of year, I’ve created some cute printables for you guys. They are all free to download, so feel free to use as you would like. I love the idea of pinning them in a family space, or putting them in a fancy frame.
I’m feeling HOT! It’s the best time of year to relax and soak up the sun. Maybe plan a little summer mixer party with your friends? You can find all of my inspo for that over on my party pinterest board!
