I always thought I would dread turning 30. Like thats SO old right? I feel like there is a lot of pressure on us to have certain milestones accomplished before we turn 30, and it’s considered that everything goes downhill from there.
What’s funny is that I feel like I am the happiest and most content in my life as I approach the big milestone! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve made taking care of my body a huge priority and feel better than I ever have. My Sunday routine is one of the most important parts of the week. I like to ensure everything is prepared for the week ahead to reduce my day to day stress. This routine is especially important when work gets busy and when I’m in the peak of marathon training!

In Minnesota, we only get a few months of beautiful summer weather, but one of the things that I like most about living here is that we make the most out of the summer months. I try to save a lot of my vacation time to take Fridays off in the summer to get a little extra outdoor time. On a beautiful weekend day, the trails in Minneapolis will be filled with people walking, running, rollerblading, biking, or whatever else they can do to be outside.
We also have lots of roof top and sidewalk patios that restaurants turn into outdoor seating, because we have to make the most of every beautiful, warm day!
