Decorating for the holidays is always one of my favorite times of the year. I love the anticipation of the holidays and getting to make everything fancy and special. I usually start decorating right after Thanksgiving because I am so excited for the newness.
Happy holidays to you all! I’m so thankful for every one of you who takes the time to share in my life on this blog. To help kick off festivities, here are a few downloadable printables that I designed! Feel free to save the PDF’s and use how you would like!
It’s the gift-giving time of year! This time of year can bring a lot of joy, but also a lot of stress over what to give people and sticking to your budget. The hype of holiday deals can get the best of us, but I try to stay focused by writing down a list and budget for my gift giving.
I’ve also found it helps to ignore the sales and deals and give gifts that the person will truly use and enjoy. Why buy someone a bunch of stuff just because it was on sale? If you find something great that happens to be on sale, that’s an even better find!
See below for my 2018 Holiday Gift Guide of beautiful and useful gifts. I tried to pull things that were special at all price points so there is something for every budget. Happy shopping!
The center of Thanksgiving is the dining table, and it’s a wonderful time to make the setting feel really special. It can also be a really stressful and overwhelming time if you’re the one doing the cooking and decorating! And lets be real– everyone is more worried about the food than the place settings (and possibly the football game on TV, depending on who’s playing!).
Here is a round up of simple, easy place settings that look great without all the fuss!
Instead of moving straight into my christmas decor this year, I decided to first decorate for “winter”. I spotted some inexpensive bottle brush trees in the dollar section of Target and loved how colorful they were. Since my holiday decor is more traditional, I thought these could be a fun way to decorate “pre-holiday” before bringing out the stockings and santas!
Boo! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because its so fun to decorate and who doesn’t love eating half a bowl of candy while wasting 4 hours waiting for trick or treaters to show up? (I have a very non-kid neighborhood apparently).
To help you get in the halloween spirit, here are a few adorable printables for you to decorate with! Might I recommend putting in a spooky antique-looking frame! Download below!
