I am excited to kick off the holiday week by wishing you all a Merry Christmas! I hope you get some time this week to relax, recharge, and spend some time with loved ones. If it’s been a hard year for you, I’m sending you my positive thoughts for better times ahead.
This week, I am looking forward to taking much needed time away from work, spending some time alone getting some quality running in, and spending time with my family and nephew for his first Christmas. As you know, I absolutely love decorating for Christmas, and I’m already dreading having to take the decorations down! I thought I would share my tree decorations from this year before it starts to drop all of its needles!

Happy December! As a holiday gift to my loyal readers, I have created some super cute desktop and phone backgrounds for y’all! This year I’ve been loving really colorful holiday decor and tried to incorporate the theme of a colorful winter wonderland. There are both mobile and desktop versions so that you can have colorful christmas all over!
One of my favorite days of the year is when I decorate my christmas mantle. I try to do a little different look each year, and it’s always fun to pull it all together. This year, I felt like we didn’t have a fall season, so I tried to hold out as long as possible, but still ended up decorating in mid-november.
This year, I went for a more colorful and whimsical theme, instead of the more traditional look that I normally have.
If you are hosting Thanksgiving this year, I am here to help you out in the only way I can– free printable decor! These adorable place card settings are easy to print out and add names to personalize. I would recommend printing on a cardstock or heavier craft paper so that they will stand up on their own.

With the holiday season approaching, you’ve probably started thinking about the gifts you’ll be giving loved ones this year. With all of the deals and sales, it’s hard not to get wrapped up in the hype of buying all of the stuff! The last few years, I’ve felt like the holidays have started to feel really transactional, and I have tried to be much more intentional with my gift giving.
This means spending a little extra time hunting for just the right thing. Sometimes it costs a little extra, sometimes it’s not super extravagant, but the gifts mean so much more than the throw blanket you picked up for $10 on Black Friday. If you’re looking for ideas for meaningful gifts, here are some of my favorites:
