Valentine’s day is just around the corner, and now is the perfect time to start thinking about showing appreciation for those you care about. In my last post, I shared some fun craft ideas, and today, I’m sharing free printable card designs.
Print these out on a pretty cardstock to add to a handmade gift! Be sure to hit the download button for the high res version and scare according to the size you want on the print window. You could also download and send as a digital file too!
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for being readers of this blog. Its a hobby that I really enjoy and I put a lot of work into the posts to try to keep them inspiring for all facets of your life. This hasn’t been the year that any of us planned, but I feel like the virtual world has brought us all closer together, even when we can’t be together physically.
I plan to spend the holiday taking a break from work, spending time with family, and ice skating! I wish you and your families all a happy and healthy holiday.
I recently shared my holiday mantle decorations, but finally got around to decorating the rest of my home for Christmas! Getting a tree is one of my favorite parts of the season, even though its extra work and sometimes a huge mess! The first year that I got a live tree, I didn’t know to make a fresh cut at the bottom of it, and it completely dried out before Christmas. If you so much as touched it, a bunch of needles came falling down!
Now I’ve learned my lesson to make a fresh cut and to make sure it always has a lot of water (hydration is key for you and your Christmas tree!). I also finally got around to decorating my kitchen! I like adding a little bit of holiday cheer to each room in the house to make it feel special– especially now that we’re spending so much time at home!
Since Christmas gatherings might look much different for your family this year, I wanted to create a couple fun activities to do with your loved ones. Whether in person, or over a zoom call, these are a fun way for everyone to reflect and share what makes the season so special. I can’t wait to do these with my own family during our Christmas eve celebration!

Happy (and healthy) holidays from my family to yours!
This year, it seems widely accepted that everyone wants to decorate for the holidays early. I love scrolling social media and seeing everyone’s cheerful and happy spaces. For my holiday decor this year, I wanted to ensure it felt really bright and special, especially now that I spend most of my time at home!
Thanksgiving might look different this year with smaller family celebrations. It’s a great time to reflect on quality family time, instead of just going through the motions. One way to add a little bit of festivity to your get-together is a fun “this or that” game (that is thanksgiving themed of course!).
Print enough copies for everyone to fill out their answers, and then have fun comparing and debating the best parts of the day! I’ve also created coordinating placecard holders to make each person feel special at the meal.
