If you think you’re the kind of person who could never be a runner, I’m here to tell you that isn’t true! With a little bit of commitment and the right plan, you can train to run a 5k in a little over a month. I’ve created a week-by-week plan to help you from the start.
This plan only has 4 workouts per week, and most of your workouts will be 30 to 45 minutes long. It starts slow and builds over the course of a month, with the end being a 5k run, that you could also do during a race that you signed up for!

Spring is always really slow to start in Minnesota, so I appreciate when the weather finally is warm enough to start wearing spring outfits. After wearing sweaters and boots for 6 months, its so nice to finally pull out short sleeves and dresses!
One style trend that I have been loving lately is the all white look. It seems like there are endless fashion “rules” about wearing white– but when your outfit is as polished as the looks below, no one will be able to say a thing!
Just be careful with your coffee while wearing these looks.

I recently did my first consignment with the Real Real and wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is curious. I have purchased both a handbag and wallet from The Real Real and had mixed experiences– the handbag was in perfect condition and a great value. The start of a new decade is the perfect time to overhaul your personal style. Over the last few years, I have been really trying to adjust my shopping habits from fast fashion items that I won’t wear in a year, to more classic pieces that look great and will last. This means less impulse buys and not always participating in the latest and greatest trends (but does anyone really miss cold shoulder tops from the one summer they were cool?).
One of the best classic style icons over the last few years is Duchess Meghan. Although she probably has a much bigger shopping budget than your average non-royal, her style is very attainable! She has been known to even wear piece from mass retailers like J Crew! I’ve pulled together some of her most classic looks and were you can find the look for less.

I always find dressing in the winter to be the most difficult. When it’s warm outside, you can just throw on a dress or top and skirt and head out the door. With the frigid temps, you have to be both fashionable and practical, which can be so much more challenging.
The key to changing up your winter looks is to utilize what you already have, but pair it with the right pieces to feel appropriate for the season. It’s also important to keep footwear in mind. Ensure your pants or skirt lengths work with the boots you intend to pair them with– this usually means that they are short enough to not interfere with the top of the boot.
