Easy Ways to Refresh Your Home for Spring

Spring is a great time to renew your house. From a total overhaul to just updating a few new pieces, you can transform your room to feel fresh and new. If you’re not in for a big update, there are a few key pieces that are relatively easy and inexpensive to change out.

The great thing about a lot of these items is that they can last through the rest of the spring and summer, so you only need to shop and update one time! Keep reading for my top items to get the most bang for your buck to celebrate the spring season.

Fresh Flowers: use a large statement vase and fill with fresh (or faux) floral stems. I love white flowers for a simple, neutral look. These statement flowers work perfect as a table centerpiece or on a coffee table.

Toss Pillows: refresh your space with new decorative pillows in soft hues. I love a series of pillows that coordinate but aren’t matchy-matchy, like this beautifully styled couch. The light tones and subtle patterns let these pillows layer nicely, but still look well styled.

Add a Mirror: adding a statement mirror not only adds style to a space but can bring more light and openness to a room. Its perfect hanging above a console table or mantle, or you could use a floor length mirror in the corner of a room.

Dress Up the Entryway: The outside of your front door doesn’t have to be the only area that gets love! Dress up the inside of your front door with a spring wreath and new scatter rug for a refreshed look. Don’t forget about the surrounding spaces too– I love the floor vase with blooming branches below!
