This year, I wanted to update my patio with new furniture that gave more comfortable seating and was just better looking than the old bistro table that I used to have. I found a really good deal on a Opal House chair set from Target that had a fun boho vibe. The set was also great because it came with cushions and pillows for the chairs. After getting the new set, I decided to redesign all of my outdoor living space to fit with the boho look!
I found a cute palm leaf patio rug that tied the seating area together. I was able to use outdoor pillows that I already had to layer on the furniture. I found a fun (indoor) lantern on clearance that I decided I would risk keeping outside since it looked so good on my side table. I also picked up a coordinating palm leaf doormat for my back door, which is closest to the patio (which is perfect for instagram worthy outfit pictures!).
I also love using my porch this time of year. I recently remodeled the whole thing and the transformation made it so much nicer!
For my front step, I keep a classic look with lots of pots with flowers and outdoor lanterns. The potted plants add pops of color and make the front step look really pulled together. I love adding outdoor lighting with lanterns and stake lights around the landscaping. It’s still a little early in the year for the garden to be blooming, so it’s a work in progress!
One of my big projects for this summer is to refinish my front door. It’s wood and it is showing its age a little bit, so I’m excited to make it look new again!
