What I’m loving today is change. Not the money kind (although I do like that too), but the change from doing something different and trying something new. My motto for 2018 has been JUST DO IT (please don’t sue me Nike)– which has pushed me to reach out of my comfort zone and try the things I’ve always been too scared or hesitant to do.

Here are some of the new things I plan to push myself to go for this year:
1. Eat better. I actually do eat pretty healthy, but I want to make a conscious effort to be more mindful of what I eat and to better fuel my body. It actually takes a lot of work to plan out balanced meals and snacks, but I feel a lot less stressed and my body feels better when I am fueling it right.

2. Really, Just Do It. This year, I’ve signed up for 2 new activities that I normally would’ve talked myself out of. I get anxious about trying new things, and get scared of committing. But this has sometimes kept me from doing things I may really love, so this is the year I’m going for it. My first new activity is coaching for Girls on the Run which is an organization that teaches school aged girls about confidence through running. The other one is trying out to be a Minnesota Vikings cheerleader. I know– WAY out of my comfort zone and I like can’t even dance. But it’s something I’ve always wanted to try, so I’m doing it!

3. This blog. I’ve started and stopped this blog more times than you would believe. But it is something that I really enjoy, and you may have noticed that I have been posting more frequently the past few months. I’ve always wanted to have a successful blog, and this is the year I plan to commit to it! Special shout-out to my amazing followers for supporting this one! 🙂

I really hope this post has inspired you guys, because now its your turn– what is something in the back of your mind that you have always wanted to do, but prevent yourself from doing? Will you give it a try?
